I have a love/hate relationship with YouTube. Even though I love them because anyone can submit their vids and footage onto it for free, and it's easy to find something you have an interest in, things are not as straightforward as they used to be.

Companies complaining about breaches of their copyrights by YouTube users means most of the stuff that people REAALY want to see gets removed as soon a it is posted. Gone are the days when you could find full episodes of new anime straight out of Japan and hot US TV shows. You could say that YouTube has become a victim of it's own success. Hell, they've even blocked access to YouTube where I work, because so many of our younger employees were caught watching it when they should've been working!!

I consider myself lucky that the internet is so vast in content, that you can find many a "YouTube" wanna be out there, eager to pick up the slack. A simple Google search (yeah, that too!) while looking for episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender lead me to a few other video submission sites including my current new best friend,!

I've recently gotten into capturing video footage on my mobile phone (very cool), and I came to the conclusion that at some point, I might want the world to see what I see through my eyes. I've recently been attending some major events in central London (more on those later), and thought it was a good idea to take some vid footage to show to those people who are interested in what I did and saw there. These kinds of things are normally one-shot. If you miss them, that's it. Once in a lifetime experience over in the blink of an eye, and you'll be kicking yourself until you're 84. Makes sense to capture the moment, doesn't it?

I'm still relatively new to this sort of thing, but had little trouble figuring out what you have to do to get your stuff out there in the public forum. Using Veoh was quite quick and easy to use, baring large video file sizes, but then again that's what Veoh can do that YouTube can't (to the best of my knowledge).

The level of content is quite good, and I've even discovered new vids straight outta Japan that I've been desperate to see first hand, like the Devil May Cry Anime and the sequel to Agent Aika (the king of panty-shots returns!).

One other reason that I have an account with, is because some of the posters there post hentai (read: Japanese animated porn). They're free, but they don't stay around very often so you have to be quick to grab them before they disappear. We internet pervs need to stay on top of our game to be able to grab free smut whenever we get the chance!

I came a little late to this particular internet phenomenon, but I still consider it to be one of the funniest I've ever seen!

Free Running - Real Life Video Games

Free Running (or Parkour as it is also known) is truely awesome stuff, like watching real life video games characters. Clearly the inspiration for the moves in the newer Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider series came from this! Utterly fantastic.

Shining Force: The Return of Dark Dragon

Another remade classic! This vid is a HUGE SPOILER for those who haven't played the game yet! It's the final battle, and Dark Dragon refuses to go down. Fortunately, the Hero has just the answer to save the day!

I loved the original, so it was only a matter of time before I got the remake for the GBA. I'm still playing it now!

Megaman X: Maverick Hunter

I've always been a fan of the Megaman X series since the First game on the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the series, Capcom did a remake of the original for the PSP (Playstation Portable).

I know that when I get a PSP, I'll probably get this game (whenever that is!). Here is a clip of someone doing a speed run through Storm Eagle's level. Suficed to say, he's very quick!

Martial Art Stunts Gone Wrong!!

This vid is really funny!! It also strikes a cord with me, coz I like to practice martial arts at home, even though I've never taken any proper lessons (except when I was attending a karate class when I was younger, but I dropped out quite early).

A good piece of advice, no, TWO good pieces of advice.

1. Don't try this stuff at home
2. If you can't resist the urge to do it, make sure you practice. A LOT.
3? You need a wide open space, away from any furniture, pets and loved ones.

Despair: The new London 2012 Olympics logo

This pic pretty much sums up what most people in the UK think of the new London 2012 Olympics logo, that cost half a million pounds to put together. I worked with my bro to put this little pic together. The man holding his face in his hand is Captain Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Some would say, a complete waste of money. They're not wrong!

Major Updates

Phew!! I almost thought I'd forgotten the sign-in details of how to get into this blog! That would've been embarassing, considering I only just got the damn thing!

I'm planning on copying over a couple of recent events onto this blog, and to add more in future (as you are supposed to do with a blog). I'm probably gonna need a bit more time to figure out all the features, so I can customise it more to my own style.

I currently have accounts with Youtube, Hi5, Deviantart, and a couple others that I can't remember right now. That doesn't even include the websites I've made over the last couple of years. I may have bitten of more than I can chew right now, but I'm sure things will start to work out once I start updating my stuff and comments across the board.

I hope. <_<>_>

On a quick note, I recently got the new Tomb Raider Anniversary game for my PS2. Two words. It ROCKS!!
